Bobby Davis Park

Perched on Walnut Street and overlooking the heart of downtown Hazard, the Bobby Davis Museum stands as a deeply meaningful tribute. Founded by Lawrence Davis in honor of his son and the brave veterans who gave their lives during World War II.

For generations, Bobby Davis Park has held a special place in the hearts of Hazard residents. It’s more than a landmark, it’s a shared memory, a space filled with history and love. Now, the time has come to celebrate that legacy in a new and vibrant way.

The Appalachian Arts Alliance is honored to reimagine this cherished space as the future home of its visual arts studio. With great care and respect, we are committed to preserving the park’s rich history while breathing new life into it. Creating a place where creativity, community, and heritage come together. Our vision is to ensure that Bobby Davis Park continues to inspire, uplift, and bring people together for generations to come.
