Appalachian Arts Alliance was founded in 2013 as a result of a community visioning session in Hazard, Kentucky. We learned people wanted and needed arts programming and education for all ages. In 2018, AppalArts hired its first Executive Director. Today, it remains primarily a community and volunteer driven organization but has added larger capacity projects.
From piano, to guitar, and singing we are mentoring the next round of Appalachian musicians.
Welcoming home some of the greatest eyes and hearts for art is our passion. Come visit!
Some kids just need to dance to burn off energy. We offer ballet and sometimes a Hoe-Down.
Let your imagine run free and join us for our community theater, no age too young or old.
